Canterbury pair win ‘World Cup’ Doubles Tournament..

World Cup Doubles Tournament Saturday 3^rd July

 Twelve teams entered the World Cup double’s tournament at our Thanet club, split into two divisions of six teams, with everyone playing five matches.

With a 10.30am start, the club were represented by Nigel Pope/Darren Roe , Justin Tilley/Andy Rolfe,  James Dyer/ Aaron Stanley, Shaun & Jason Chaplin.

Thanks to Martin Rintoul & Tracey Stembridge for all their hard work and the ‘hog roast’! 

Good squash and everyone had fun with the results as follows;

1^st Semi final,

Joe Magor /Neil Baker V Craig Hulbert /Keith Hulbert ~ Joe and Neil won 2-0 

2^nd Semi final,

Gary Clarke /Steve Smith V Phil Crane / Ryan Duke ~ Gary and Steve won 2-0

Final

Joe Magor / Neil baker beat Gary Clarke / Steve Smith 2-1

Plate Final

Steve Dunk / Dan Lockyer  beat Shaun Chaplin / Jason Chaplin 2-0
